ASUU strike: Outcome of Buhari’s meeting with NANS emerges

President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Labour Unions to allow his administration concentrate on fixing infrastructure in the country rather than distracting it. Buhari, said this during a meeting with the Executive Committee of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) at the State House, Abuja. He urged the students to continue to plead with the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, assuring that he will speak with the lecturers’ body “so that they don’t encroach on your efforts to qualify in time.” The president in a statement by his Special Adviser on Medau and Publicity, Femi Adesina said “In three and a half years, we have improved tremendously on what we met. Chelsea  boss  Maurizio Sarri  admits their sensational deal for  Borussia Dortmund  star  Christian Pulisic  took him by surprise. After their stalemate with  Southampton , Sarri was asked about the transfer. He said, "I didn't know anything about  Christian Pulisic  yesterday. The club asked my opinion about him one month ago and my opinion was positive and I knew the deal was done but I didn't know anything. I'm not in charge of the market. "We have to play every three days so I cannot think of next year, I have to think about the next match." Sarri won't see Pulisic until next season. Chelsea sign US footballer Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund for £58m

German football club,  Borussia Dortmund  have confirmed that  Christian Pulisic  will join  Chelsea  for €64m (£58m), with the United States forward to be loaned back to the club until the end of the season. The 20-year-old, who joined  Dortmund as a youth player in 2015 was linked with Liverpool and Arsenal. He has made 80 appearances for Dortmund and 23 for the US. Confirming the move to Chelsea, BVB’s sporting director,  Michael Zorc  said: “It was always Christian’s dream to play in the Premier League. That certainly has to do with his American background, and as a result we were unable to extend his contract.                                 DJ Cuppy, the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, tweeted lyrics from Teni's song "Case" and Nigerians on Twitter had a lot to say to her. "My papa no be Dangote or Adeleke... but we go dey okay!" Cuppy wrote.
